Hilary Duff Inspired Elfen Lied???

I actually realized this last year, but I just felt like making this the first blog entry on this website. Anyways, the ending theme for the anime Elfen Lied is the song Be Your Girl by Chieko Kawabe. On Hilary Duff's album Metamorphosis, the song So Yesterday sounds very similar to Be Your Girl. Metamorphosis came out 1 year, 3 months, and 27 days before Be Your Girl did. I just think this is a funny coincidence. By the way, I am NOT the first person to notice the similarities between these two songs, I found this comment on some website from 2004.
